Directing For Film
A good story becomes a great film when it's been touched by a good director. This course has been curated to help you realize the overall vision for your film and make you that good director. From overseeing the artistic and technical elements of film production to directing the shooting timetable, meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets, you will learn the fundamentals and gain practical experience in Film Directing. The program will offer:
● Script Analysis: You will learn to analyze a script and plan the best approach to the material.
● Cinematic Techniques: Under the tutelage of our counselors, you will learn the difference between a good shot and a great shot. Effectively use camera angles, lighting, and composition to tell your story in a way that conveys meaning to your audience.
● Work with Actors: Get trained to direct actors to give performances that will evoke authentic responses from your audience.
● Collaboration with Crew: Gain leadership, communication and conflict management skills through work with set designers, lighting specialists, sound technologists, costume designers, props managers and other experienced industry professionals.
● Post-Production Techniques: Learn to maximize post-production results by understanding the role of editing, sound design, and visual effects in shaping the final cinematic experience.
